Three endowed scholarship funds have been established by the Washington, D.C. Alumni Chapter with the Lincoln University Foundation.  These scholarship funds are perpetual and only the interest derived from the corpus of these endowed scholarship funds is used to provide scholarships to students at Lincoln University.  The minimum corpus of two of the endowed funds has been set at $25,000 and the third endowed scholarship has a $10,000 minimum.  A memorandum of understanding between the Lincoln University Foundation and the Washington, D.C. chapter, describes the terms for the administration of these scholarships and funds.  Below is a brief description of the chapter’s three funds.  Additionally, The Washington DC Chapter has established its own scholarship and student assistance fund.
